WHATS THE AIRSOFT?

Since you are in that section I may presume you have no idea what's going on, what's airsoft or what kind of gate are we talking about. Well, in that case the best thing is to start from the beginning. And here comes good news: you are at the right place. According to the URBANDICTIONARY, AIRSOFT is "a game where opposing teams use either electric, gas, or spring powered replicas of real guns, to propel a small diameter ball-bearing(BB) at the opposing team". Of course this definition is correct but is it sufficient? I'm not sure. AIRSOFT is a kind of lifestyle. It assumes being honest and healthy, respecting your friends as well as your opponents. It teaches you how to react to stressful situations and answers the question whom you can rely on. And since the world is not as safe place as we believed it was because of AIRSOFT you may gain some very practical and helpful skills. And, besides all of this beautiful values it's just a really good fun.

'How does it differ from paintball though?' someone may ask. In fact, the differences are noticeable. What you can notice at first glance is that paintball players' ammunition are balls filled with paint (yes, that's where does the name of the game come from). Because of that once hit, player cannot argue with that because he has a colorful blur on his uniform. It is a good thing, I cannot argue with that. But on the other hand it implies fact, that the uniforms are not very sophisticated. What is more, paintball is more like a game: most of the players meet once a month, shoot a little and go back to their lives.

Airsoft though is different. Instead of balls with paint players use rubber bullets. You cannot see if someone was hit but it doesn't matter. True airsoft player knows it's better to lose rather than to cheat. If anyone broke this rule he would be sure that his punishment would be a banishment. Because the uniforms can be kept clean they can be also better quality. Vast number of airsoft players invest as much money on the visual equipment as on the gun replicas and ammo. And last but surely not least, it is more than just a hobby. True AIRSOFT player lives it all the time. He/she digs through forums in order to find information about his/her dreamt gun, follow the news in order to know what is going on within the society and, what is the most important thing keeps in touch with friends from the battlefield. Because in the world of things more and less important a true friendship should always be the most valuable thing.
