CWI is a
Taiwanese company specialized in production of AIRSOFT equipment. Machineguns
and pistols, spring and gas powered, grenades and batteries – you can select
whatever you want. And the choice goes further: there are classical
guns in well-known shapes and fancy
machines that will make you feel really unique. I think that the company’s
engineers had finally decided to mix those two ideas and create a pistol with
classical shape and original design. What is more, they’ve turned in it an
Indian soul. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you WE Baroque Style M1911 6mm
GBB (Indian Apache).
The original Colt M1911 is a very popular gun, since 1911 basic
weapon of the US Army. It was also very useful: when in 1943 three Japanese
soldiers sneaked into the American base in order to kill general Alexander Vandegrift,
the leader of the 1st Marine Division. When they approached, he was
sitting at the table writing a report. They surprised him completely, the only
gun he had was the Colt. Story says he pulled it before they reached him and
shot all three attackers.
The CWI had decided to develop the historical associations: they
have covered the gun metal structure with forms referring to Indians from the
wild west. Is it nice? It depends. Those of you who like the baroque style will
probably love it, those who had always been Indian Chiefs in the playground
will fight for it to the last blood. I think it will also suit everyone who dreams
about silver bullets killing the vampires. For me it’s overwhelmed: too many
shapes, too many details. I prefer minimalistic weapon that allows me to
concentrate on the game, instead of admiring the gun. But that’s just my opinion
and I hope that some of you will find it astonishing and expand your private collection!
